Report a correction.
The Index is built from published programs, and published programs contain errors. If your appearances are wrong, incomplete or attributed to the wrong person, write to us with the organizer's program page for each one.
Corrected against the source, and dated.
What we do
- Correct against primary sources only: the organizer's own program, course catalog or session page
- Date every correction
- Put a visible revision note on every corrected edition
What we do not do
- Remove a speaker on request
- Add an appearance on the strength of a résumé
- Add an appearance from a speaker page or a bureau listing
What to send.
- Speaker nameAs the organizer printed it, and as the Index shows it if the two differ.
- Index yearThe edition the correction applies to. This form is for the 2026 edition.
- CategoryThe category the entry is in, or should be in.
- The appearance in disputeThe meeting and the session title, and what is wrong, missing or attributed to the wrong person.
- A link to the organizer's program pageOne for each appearance.
A claim without a source link is accepted, but it is treated as unsourced: we correct against the organizer's own program, course catalog or session page, and nothing else.
