About Katie

If there’s one word to describe Katie Franklin, it’s Super-Passionate! Yes, that’s technically two words, but she’s always been an overachiever. Katie is super-passionate about helping others succeed.

After passing out while assisting with a spinal tap working in a pediatrician’s office, Katie shifted her focus to dental. Starting as an office manager at a private dental practice in St. Louis, MO, she quickly recognized the need to reduce her practice’s dependence on insurance. Her solution was to design and launch an in-office membership plan, allowing her practice to regain control of their fees, successfully break free from the insurance model, and provide better overall care to their patients. It worked so well that she helped turn this concept into a business, working with thousands of dental practices across the nation to implement this model of care.

Fast-forward to 2023, where Katie joined up with DentalHQ, founded by Dr. Brett Wells, who, in 2017, recognized the need to reduce his practice’s dependence on insurance, with a solution to design and launch a software platform for an in-office membership plan. Mmmmm…synergy! In Katie’s current role with DentalHQ, she uses her extensive dental office knowledge to help practices recognize the benefits of implementing and automating their membership plans to help their businesses grow. She speaks your language – she gets it!

Katie is super-passionate about helping dental practices succeed and works hard to create and maintain healthy relationships with her clients. She is very active in the dental community – a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM), very involved with the Academy of Dental Management Consultants (ADMC) and has also been part of the Speaking Consultant Network (SCN).

Katie enjoys helping practices enjoy financial freedom by offering this model of care. Whether practices are just getting started with in-office membership plans or looking to take them to the next level, Katie offers the recipe for success on how to create, launch, and grow custom membership plans.
